The Baobá Bookstore will host, starting next March 7th (Saturday), the collective exhibition “SEIS.”, which marks the conclusion of the studies of the graduating students of the Postgraduate Program in Illustration at the School of Arts of the Autonomous University of Lisbon. The opening is scheduled for 5:00 PM at the Baobá Bookstore in Lisbon.
The exhibition brings together the works of six artists: Alexa Lacayo, Cátia Vieira, Duda Coutinho, Inês Murta, Léda Alcântara, and Yana Marques. Curated by professors Inês Viegas Oliveira and Carolina Celas, the exhibition promises to be a meeting point between different visual languages and creative paths.
“Six heads, twelve hands, infinite ideas. Six paths that intersect, six ways of sketching the world. SIX is number, it is encounter, it is plural.”, reads the presentation of the project, which celebrates the diversity of approaches in the field of contemporary illustration.
Entry is free, and the exhibition can be visited until April 7th at Baobá Livraria, a space known for hosting independent publishing and artistic projects in Lisbon.
