Open call for Cabeça Colectiva 2.0, a series of talks about contemporary painting.

The School of Arts hosts the second edition of Cabeça Colectiva, taking place between March and June 2026. This project, coordinated by the artist Ana Cardoso, once again proposes a space for encounter, debate and reflection around contemporary painting. Francisca Carvalho, Joana da Conceição, Luísa Jacinto, Manuel Caldeira, Pedro Barateiro and Pedro Henriques are the guest artists for the second edition.

Over six sessions, the artists take on the role of interlocutors, guiding the discussion through a presentation of their own work and texts of their choosing. More than a seminar, Cabeça Colectiva establishes itself as a laboratory—a place where artistic practice is discussed, and where painting is questioned as an expanded field.

The sessions will take place on Tuesdays, between March and June, at the School of Arts of the Autonomous University of Lisbon, in the evenings (6pm-8pm). Registrations must be submitted through this link. online form and participants must commit to attending the entire course.

The guest artists for the first edition were: Ana Manso, Bruno Pacheco, Evy Jokhova, Leyla Gediz, Max Ruf and Tomás Cunha Ferreira.

The Collective Head is a program of the School of Arts, coordinated by the visual artist Ana Cardoso, with the support of the Autonomous Cultural Authority.
