Cabeça Colectiva is a series of six conversations with and for artists, which aims to foster discourse(s) around contemporary painting.

The sessions will be led by invited artists who will discuss artworks and texts of their choice. Their selection reflects on specific and broad themes—such as identity, performance, and digital media—to address subject positions within the field of painting.

The guest artists are Ana Manso, Bruno Pacheco, Evy Jokhova, Leyla Gediz, Max Ruf and Tomás Cunha Ferreira.

Six two-hour sessions are planned, after work hours. The sessions will take place at the School of Arts of the Autonomous University of Lisbon, between February and June.

Applications may be submitted through this form.

The group of selected candidates will be announced at the end of February. Those selected must participate in the entire cycle. If selected, the candidate must pay a registration fee of 30 euros.

Cabeça Colectiva is an initiative of the School of Arts, coordinated by visual artist Ana Cardoso.

The deadline for applications is February 21st.
