DURATION

12 hours | 3 sessions

LOCAL

School of Arts – Universidade Autónoma de Lisboa (Campo de Ourique)

What can we think and write based on the work of some contemporary artists? Based on the book “Dicionário de Artistas” by Gonçalo M. Tavares, Relógio d'Água edition, and references to “Atlas of the Body and Imagination” – recommended for this twelve-hour course – the aim is to spark a joint reflection about image, movement and words.

The aim of the course is to bring book readers closer to contemporary art, through a succinct presentation of the work of some of the most relevant contemporary artists and their relationship with the word. Students will be invited to actively participate, in different ways, and, in this sense, each one is asked to bring a cell phone or computer to carry out group research actions.
