“Revolution in the Internet Archive” is a film series that brings together archive films and videos available for free through the Internet Archive. The selection presents works from different genres, countries and eras, with a focus on expressions of political resistance, collective work and social critique. They are living documents of the history of popular struggle and resistance, capturing voices and images that have escaped the commercial circuit, but which remain urgent in the present. From Palestine to Latin America, via the United States and Europe, the films project an archive in motion, where memory is activated through free sharing and open access. The session, programmed by Cinema Círculo, will take place on May 31st, starting at 12:00, at the Escola das Artes, and admission is free.
