Next Friday, March 1st, the School of Arts will host the launch of Volume V of the Limoeiro Real Magazine, co-edited by the coordinator of the Postgraduate Course in Illustration, Inês Viegas Oliveira. The launch, which should take place from 7pm, includes the reading of chosen texts and will be attended by the editors, as well as some authors. Entry is free.
A Royal Lemon Tree is a quarterly and independent literary magazine founded by three friends from the world of letters and illustration. It is dedicated to fiction, poetry, essays and illustration and thus seeks to disseminate literary and artistic works. It brings together images by some of the most renowned contemporary illustrators, original texts and translated versions.
In this Volume V, the cover of Limoeiro Real was created by Portuguese illustrator Susa Monteiro and includes other authors such as Julia Bac, Yaryna Chornohuz, Eduardo Halfon, Soru Lee, Rodrigo Magalhães, Susana Moreira Marques, Ricardo Marques, João Pedro Mésseder, Susa Monteiro , Guadalupe Nettel, David James Poissant, Anna Świrszczyńska, as well as poets Najwan Darwish, Palestinian, and Dylan Thomas, Welsh.
